Natural cold and flu tips

Flu season typically runs from October to May. As a preventative use cleanliness within and without your body, mind, & spirit as well as your living quarters and the way you prepare foods. Wash those hands!

If you get a cold or flu remember to get plenty of sleep, drink plenty of water, organic juice, or natural electrolyte drinks (not gatorade).

Know when you need to see a doctor or go to the hospital don't wait till its too late.

Respiratory- Chest rubs with heat applied, drinking herbal teas and sleeping while sitting in an upward position will aid the lungs in excessive fluid and congestion congested.

Sinus- Facial steams are helpful in sinus colds as well as the neti pot.

Stomach- make sure your bowels are moving do enemas responsibly if needed. Ginger, chamomile and cinnamon helps settle stomach.
